Cleveland Cavaliers vs San Antonio SPurs Jan 21,2017

Things won't quite seem the same without Tim Duncan on the floor as LeBron James and the Cavaliers play host to the Spurs on Saturday (8:30 p.m. ET, ABC). Regular-season NBA games don’t get much better than this. The defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers will welcome the San Antonio Spurs to Quicken Loans Arena for a Saturday night matchup between two of the NBA’s elite teams. The Cavaliers own the best record in the Eastern Conference at 30-11, but the Spurs have been better overall at 33-9, which is good for second place in the Western Conference. San Antonio will be at a disadvantage Saturday, though, without Pau Gasol, who’s out indefinitely after having hand surgery. San Antonio notable: The Spurs bench has outscored or matched production of the opposing reserves in 29 of the first 42 games. Cleveland notable: The Cavs lead the East in three-pointers made (524) and three-pointers made per game (12.8). They are second in the East in three-point percentage (.384). The Cavs have hit at least 10 treys in 31 of 41 games and shot at least .400 from long distance 16 times (16-0).
